Northern Athletics Cross Country Team News
2016 / 2017 Northern Athletics Cross Country representative Team events.
Northern Athletics will be sending teams, as outlined below, to the events shown.
There is also some information as to selection criteria that will be used for the event teams.
As previously, the aim is to select younger developing athletes, so they can gain valuable experience of International standard races and competition.

Home Countries International, Wales 25th March
We plan to take 4 teams of 4 (Senior and junior male & female). Selection will be based upon this seasons performance – particularly the Northern Championships. Where we plan to offer places to the first 2 finishers in each category, who wish to compete here.
*Please note we have raised concerns that this fixture is scheduled for the same date as the Area 12 / 6 stage relays. We hope that this date clash is resolved, which may mean achange of date for one of the fixtures

We are also looking to recruit and appoint some new team managers – both male & female, but particularly females.
